Privacy
The short version: no account, no email, no advertising, no tracking - and anything we do hold, we'll delete whenever you ask.
Last updated 20 September 2026
What Cubeon keeps
- The name you pick. Three to sixteen characters, exactly what you type. It's how your friends find you.
- Your skin and cape pictures, if you add them, so other Cubeon players can see them in game.
- Your friends list, and the messages you send through Cubeon, so they can reach the people you're talking to. One-to-one messages are end-to-end encrypted: they're scrambled on your device and only the person you're writing to can read them. Not us.
- Your IP address while you're connected. That's how the app tells a real player from a flood of fake ones, and how it stops someone taking over your name.
That's the whole list. No email address, no phone number, no real name, no date of birth, no payment details, and no Mojang or Microsoft login.
What we don't do
- No advertising and no ad networks, here or in the app.
- No analytics profiles, and no cookies at all - see Cookies. The one statistic this website keeps is the download counter: a shared running total of button presses, held by an open-source counter service, with nothing about you attached to it.
- No selling, renting or swapping your information with anybody.
- No emails, so no newsletters and nothing to unsubscribe from.
- No asking who you are: there's no age, name or address to hand over.
Where it's kept
Two places only. On your own computer, where your name, skins, settings and logs sit in a Cubeon folder in your user folder. And on the small servers that connect players to each other, which is what makes your friends list and your shared skin work. Plus one anonymous number - the download counter (see Cookies), which is just a running total with nothing attached to it.
Deleting your data
No forms and no hoops. Two ways to do it:
- On your computer: delete the Cubeon folder in your user folder (or uninstall the app and then remove that folder). Your name, skins, settings and logs go with it.
- On our side: message hamza.457.shahbaz@gmail.com and say you'd like your data deleted. We'll remove the name, skin and cape tied to your install and tell you when it's done - normally within a few days.
You can also change or remove your skin and cape in the app yourself, whenever you like.
Younger players
Cubeon doesn't ask for anyone's age, email or real name, and it isn't aimed at children under 13 - or under 16 where 16 is the local age for agreeing to this kind of thing. If you're a parent or guardian and you'd like something removed, write to the contact address above and it will be deleted, no questions asked.
Who's behind this
Cubeon is run by Hamza, who you can reach at hamza.457.shahbaz@gmail.com. It's a small fan project rather than a company with a data department - which is a big part of why it collects so little.
If this page changes
The date at the top changes with it. Nothing we change will reach back and start collecting more than what's listed above.
